My first-ever blog entry
I’m really moving up in the world. Two days ago I bought my first-ever cell phone, and now I’m writing my first-ever blog entry. (Some might view this as more of a plunge into the abyss than an angelic ascent, but I am being optimistic.)
I found out yesterday that I’ve been accepted to the University of Utah graduate program in mathematics, but without funding.
The semester is ending. What a relief. I’m so exhausted from all of my finals (all of which went fairly badly) that I can hardly type. Must . . . finish . . . post . . .!
My landlady contacted us a month ago and told us that, schade, we all have to move out by April 25. This is not the problem it seems at first, since the place I live becomes seriously overpriced over the summer and we all wanted out of our contracts anyway. Naturally this means I have to move all of my stuff somehow from the basement apartment I currently inhabit to the new second-floor apartment I’ll be staying in for the next few months. I must know someone with a car . . .
