Starting at the U
Things are going pretty well at the U, as far as my classes go. I’ve attended each of my classes once, and am generally satisfied with my professors. Two of them are foreign, but their accents are easy to understand, which is not always the case. The problem is that I still don’t know what I really should be doing! I’m taking these classes, but I don’t have an advisor yet, I need to apply for funding for next year, I haven’t been receiving e-mails from the graduate office, etc. etc. etc. Ah, well. Things will sort themselves out soon enough, I’m sure. [Update: Or not.]
