Book Mention: Jumper, by Steven Gould

I first picked this book up in the Riverside City Main Library when I was about fifteen. I only read the first few pages, but I never forgot Davy Rice and his ability to ‘jump’ away from bad situations–something I have often wished I had the power to do. Today, ten years or so later, I finally read Jumper all the way through. The writing isn’t the best, but the premise and situations are plenty gripping. And if you read it and like it and don’t want it to end, never fear–Steven Gould wrote a sequel, Reflex, which I plan to read next week sometime.
