Huis Clos II: La Famille, by horror master Jean-Paul Sartre

Starting three hours from now, I will spend forty-eight hours in the company of my family. This may turn out to be somewhat uncomfortable, since I haven’t seen them since August (long-time readers will understand why this is significant; for newbies, here a couple of links: 9/22/05, 11/26/05). In any case, we’ll be spending the weekend in exotic Park City, Utah. The wedding party has taken over most or all of the Lodges at the Deer Valley Resort, so that’s where we’ll be staying. More updates to come.

(Here’s a link to an English translation of Huis Clos, a brilliant and disturbing play by Sartre.)
