- Check out The Wailin’ Jennys, a talented Canadian folk/bluegrass trio that I have fallen in love with over the past few weeks. Thanks to Tracie Potochnik (AKA Potes) for giving the group a shout-out/shameless plug in a recap for America’s Next Top Model, and thus introducing The Wailin’ Jennys to their new #1 American fan.

- Also check out Will Ferrell’s new movie, Stranger than Fiction, which is amazingly effective and realistic despite its utterly implausible and surreal premise. It’s not perfect, but it sure was a lot of fun. (Eric D. Snider’s review is here.)
- Last but not least, re-read Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Or if you haven’t read it, for heaven’s sake read it! And THEN re-read it.
