Pushing the Ahnvelope
Is my sense of humor shriveling from lack of use? Has living in Utah finally gotten to me? Or did this week’s episode of Family Guy actually cross the line? While I was watching it, several times I found myself mouth agape, shouting, “They did NOT just do that!” and squirming in my seat. I’m not the kind of person to pick up the phone and complain about something like that, but I bet Fox and its affiliates are getting tons of calls.
On the other hand, there was a hilarious recurring gag involving an idiosyncratic pronunciation of “Cool Whip.” Got me every time.
