Smooth as Butterscotch
I am now in love with Neko Case. (Which, of course, is a synecdochical way of saying that I am in love with her music and/or her voice.) That is all.

Am I alone,
And unobserved? I am!
Then let me own
I'm an aesthetic sham!

Neko Case is the best. I have listened to Fox Confessor Brings the Flood so many times.

What’s kind of freaky is that I listened to Fox Confessor Brings the Flood (the album) for the first time today . . . and discovered that several of the songs were already familiar to me. I have no idea how. But I loved them before, and I love them now.

You probably have heard of Feist also, actual name Leslie Feist. Her album “Let it Die” from a couple of years is way different than Neko Case, but still really good stuff.

I’ve heard “Mushaboom,” and watched the video, and liked both of them. I’ll have to check out her album. Thanks for the recommendation.
