That was very visual. I really liked the touch with the blood, though the syringe seemed a bit jarring. I don’t know why. Probably because I’m a fantasist through and through and expect every fictional society to be agrarian.

Thanks, Karie. By the way, I’ve taken the syringe out and put it back in several times. Right now it’s in, but it might be out again at some point.
