Alone and Unobserved

You may remember the witty Canadian video about “traditional marriage” that I posted last year. Well, it turns out that the comedian featured in that segment is actually Rick Mercer, the openly gay host of CBC’s Rick Mercer Report, which is similar to Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show, but about Canadian goings-on instead of American . . . er, United-States-ian ones. Mercer, by the way, is the ‘journalist’ who conned then-presidential-hopeful George W. Bush into believing his candidacy had been endorsed by fictional Canadian Prime Minister Jean Poutine.
