A Day Filled with Discoveries

I hadn’t seen the movie French Kiss in a long time, and when I forced my friend Craig to watch it tonight, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it—even now that I am an old, jaded gay man. It is good to know that I can still giggle with helpless glee at Meg Ryan’s Kevin Kline impression (“My ass is twitching. You people make my ass twitch.” Hee!).

Other things I discovered today:

I am not a fan of raclette (the cheese), especially when melted on top of spaetzle.

“One Night in Bangkok” was originally sung by the older brother of the actor who played Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The buses in Salt Lake have different schedules on Saturday than on weekdays (actually, I already knew this, or I should have).

Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight (the movie) is based on a fun book, but it features some of the worst acting and animation I’ve ever seen. Yes, worse than “Dragon Tales.”

It is dangerous for me to wake up one minute before my alarm and decide to sleep through that last minute. Especially when it turns out I forgot to set my alarm, and that last minute ends up lasting AN ENTIRE HOUR.
