“Yeah, this is Utah. On Sunday, everything shuts down. It’s the Mormon Conference today—they’re all out in force. You should see how they dress their daughters.”

Hahaha. Was she talking about the gigantic head bows? Because I’ve been disturbed by those myself a time or two.

It might have been that. But then, she looked like she was from California, so maybe she was just deploring Utah’s “welcome to 2001!” styles.
