Crazy Person (out loud, while walking down the street): “Sotheby’s Realty. I wonder if that’s pronounced like the auction house? Suh-thuh-bees. Saw-thuh-bees. Sowth-bees. (Chuckles, then runs out of breath.) Oof, I’m tired.”
Homeless-Looking Person: (Looks around to see who is talking; sees Crazy Person; looks away quickly.)
Crazy Person—all right, I admit it, it was me (not out loud): “You know you’re in trouble when even the homeless population thinks you’re off your rocker.”
