The Graveyard Book: New Website!
If you have been reading Neil Gaiman’s journal over the past year, you were able to follow along as he wrote his newest novel, The Graveyard Book, a collection of stories (modeled on Kipling’s two Jungle Books) which follow the adventures of a young mortal boy as he escapes death at the hands of the Man Jack and is raised by the inhabitants of a village cemetery. Furthermore, you have very likely already fallen in love with the story and can’t wait for it to be released at the end of September.
If, on the other hand, you do not read Neil Gaiman’s journal and have never heard of The Graveyard Book before, here is your chance to do so! The book’s official website is now live at thegraveyardbook.com, and features a great deal of information about the story, the author, the illustrator and the illustrations.
And, just for fun, here is a clip I’ve already linked to, of Neil Gaiman reading the fourth chapter of The Graveyard Book, called “The Witch’s Headstone.”
